Kim Bass is a writer and is the creator of Kenan & Kel. He originally started his career as an actor but eventually decided to stay strictly behind the scenes. Some of his first work as a writer was done on In Living Color, a sketch comedy show which featured mostly African-Americans. He would move on to co-create a show, Sister. Sister, which turned out to be one of The WB's most popular shows in its formative years, and ran for six seasons.
Two years after Sister, Sister's premiere, he would solely create his own show: Kenan & Kel. Starring Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell, the show would prove to be a success, running four seasons and ending with a television movie.
Currently, Bass is working on some projects after staying out of show business after Kenan & Kel ended.
