Kenan wants to get his driver's license despite his parents wishes. He schedules the test the same day his science project is due. Attempting to keep it a secret from his parents, he asks Chris to accompany him to take the driving test. He also asks Marc to borrow his father's car to take the test.
Kenan doesn't even begin his science project until the night before and by morning he is barely awake. Kel completes the written portion of test while Kenan is sleeping on the table. When it comes time to take the driving test, Kenan leans forward and puts the car into drive, crashing into his father's car.
